The Building Trade Journal is a brand new website for the construction industry. It has been founded with the intention of developing into the most comprehensive, inventive and easy to use directory of building, construction and development, for both the individual home owner and development professional alike.

Section 1 - Planning the buildDirectory
In this section of the site you will find vetted listings for Specialist Contractors, Design Professionals and Material Suppliers with contact details and in some cases links to their own web sites. There is also the facility to contact them directly through the web site. It is hoped that the Building Trade Journal will become the shop window for the construction industry and the easy to use data base of who's who.

This area of the site is under development and will be available soon. In the age of Environmental awareness we must all do our best to reuse the planets resources. The construction industry wastes a huge amount of materials, sometimes due to ordering errors or simply because it is cheaper to order in bulk. Due to changes in awareness and landfill taxes the industry has realized that there are vast cost savings to be made in not paying for disposal. We aim to provide a low cost forum to advertise your surplus materials that can be reused by others, to assist in the reduction of waste generation.
